Family pictures for the second time this year!!!!

My family decided to have family pictures taken for the second time this year apparently the first ones weren't that great. The funny thing is we used the same photographer we did them at the same spot and we even wore some of the same colors. I will have to say that Dan & the kiddos were troopers because we all know how happy our families are on picture day.

Things that I Love...

1. I LOVE to watch the bachelor. I know that this is the trashiest show on TV, but for some reason I get hooked every season.

2. I LOVE to watch Logan play soccer! He amazes me with his talents and his ability to play this game, every game is so exciting and I just love going to his games and I always look forward to them.

3. I LOVE to have a good food storage, I know this sounds goofy but it's really the truth for some reason I just have this fear of not having enough food to feed my family if there was an emergency so therefor if I walk into my food storage room and there is plenty of items on the shelves then I feel really good.

4. I LOVE to have parties! I'm always up for having people over and for throwing a party I love to get together with family & friends!

5. I LOVE to have a organized house; nothing feels better than feeling like everything is in place and organized, this doesn't always happen but it feels great when it does!

I would like to find out all of things that my friends and family love, so heres to all of you...tag you're it!

Disney World!

As most of you know, we took the kids to Disney World over Halloween / Fall Break with Grandma and Grandpa Frost. I know that looking at other peoples vacation photos can be as fun as watching paint dry, so I put it to music to make it funner to watch. It really was the trip of a lifetime and the kids had a great time! Happy Holidays to all!

Happy Halloween!!

Halloween has been fun this year, and it isn't even Halloween yet. The kids have already enjoyed decorating sugar cookies and carving pumpkins at Grandma and Grandpa Frosts house and tried on one of their many costume ideas at Grandma Nalders house. Brianna even planned her first Halloween party with some of her friends (and yes, BOYS came too). The last picture is of the aforementioned party. That is Brianna in the orange outfit, she agonized over just the right costume and finally came up with the "pumpkin go-go girl" she found on the internet.

Pretty much the best thing we have ever spent $ on...

As most of you know, we have talked about/dreamed about finishing our basement for quite some time now. Actually it has been since we bought our house 4 years ago, this is mainly because the prospect of doubling our house size (along with putting all three kids downstairs) was especially tantalizing. I actually started this project in the spring of 2006, Nick Jensen (our former neighbor) and I framed most of it then along with some other stuff but my drive and money eventually ran out...When i got back from LRO school last April we decided to have James Page construction finish it. Now after we have settled in, it has been one of the best things we have ever spent $ on!!! The sound of silence upstairs is priceless! So for those of you that live out of state and haven't seen it (and Jared), here are some pics of the different stages of building...

Back 2 School

Today was the Kids first back to school. Brianna is starting 6th grade, Logan is in 4th and Bugs is in 2nd. These are some pictures of their first day...sweet clothes!!

Logans Soccer Movie part II

The second soccer movie is finally done! Just to give a quick update on Logan's soccer, he is on a new club this year (La Roca) and has already won two tournaments and was a finalist in another. The club is off to a great start and Marcie and I are having fun watching his games...

Daughters

It had been suggested that I change our blog name to "Logan’s Fan Blog" so I wanted to post something let everyone know I love my 2 beautiful blue-eyed princesses also!! Thanks for being patient with our blog, I don’t post as often as I want to because life is busy in the Frost Family SW household. We are in the middle of finishing our basement and our house is in disarray (more to come on that in a future post), Marcie is enjoying her new part-time job, I am keeping busy with work / soccer coaching, and the kids are getting ready with being done for another school year.

Spring Skiing

After being gone all winter I was worried that my ski season was over, but the weekend after I got back it snowed!I had Logan sluff a friday of school and we skiied the Canyons!! There was hardly any snow at the base of the mountain but on 9990' there was plenty of snow and even some powder. Here are some pictures from the top of the world.

Return from Lackland

After 3 long months of toil at Lackland AFB, I am back home! In retrospect, the course was 12 weeks long and had 15 challenging blocks of instruction. Acedemicallly, I graduated 2nd in my class with a 97% test average (not bad for a guy that barely made it through High School). It was a long and tedious school but I gained lots of good "job knowledge".
